We celebrated Gorgeous Grandma Day with smiles, snapshots, and a little extra sparkle! 📸✨ It was a lovely day filled with laughter, fun, and plenty of picture-perfect moments.

For our July , we’d like you to meet Billie Jean!

Billie Jean was chosen for this because of her positive attitude. She always has a smile on her face and is a joy to be around, lifting spirits with her cheerful outlook and warm personality.

One thing she loves about living at The Blake is how warm and welcoming everyone is—from fellow residents to the entire team. She appreciates that her needs are always met promptly and with care, and she enjoys the wide variety of activities offered by the activities department.

If she could give one piece of advice, it would be: “Always be open-minded and have a positive attitude. That’s what will get you through life.”

Fun fact: Billie Jean was married to the love of her life for 62 wonderful years and is the proud mother of five daughters. She also loves to sew—in fact, she lovingly hand-made each of her daughters’ wedding dresses.

Billie Jean has brought so much life to The Blake, and we are so lucky to have her!

We celebrated National Lottery Day with Blackbeard Pirate Trivia and the Wheel of Winning! The games brought out plenty of laughs, friendly competition, and big spins. 🏴
