Only 8.5% of the population has B+ blood, and B+ donors are especially needed for platelet donations. Because platelets only have a shelf life of 5 days, the need is constant. ❤️

🩸 Platelets — every 7 days, up to 24 times a year
🩸 Plasma — every 28 days

Platelets are critical for cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy, while plasma helps burn victims, trauma patients, and transplant recipients.
