Hi Ya'll!
We are excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners of TIPCO!
We are a husband and wife duo from Virginia, our names are Jordan and Eric Thompson.
Jordan is a horticulturist and arborist in training, she graduates from Virginia Tech with a degree in Environmental Horticulture in less than 2 weeks (Woohoo!) and will return to Tech this fall to pursue a masters degree in Entomology. She has extensive experience in working with ornamental plants in many private and public gardens in Virginia, but her first love is farming! She has worked on several organic farms and managed farm to table programs for various restaurants in Loudoun County, Virginia.
She currently works part time for I.V. Tree Care (when not studying for finals) using many of the products she now sells to help save trees in the Blacksburg area!
Eric is an all around handy-man with a background in livestock husbandry and agriculture. He has worked on farms in Pennsylvania, Virginia, California, and even France! He grew up around cattle and has extensive knowledge of regenerative farming practices involving livestock. He has raised pigs, turkeys, chickens, cows, and any vegetable you can imagine. Moreover, he has the drive and work ethic of an entreprenuer and is excited to apply his managereal experience to business ownership. If you call the number, he's the guy you're talking to from here on out! And he's dedicated to giving you the same quality service you've come to know and expect from TIPCO!
Needless to say, we're over the moon and can't thank Jim Cortese enough for trusting us with the ownership of his business, but also his legacy. We are eternally grateful for his guidance and blessing to carry on as the owners of this incredible company.
To a bright, green future,
Jordan and Eric Thompson.
