Just a reminder for this event from The Well NRV this Friday! We had the community show up and purchase all of the toys from our Christmas Toy Drive, but you are still able to bring non-perishable food items on Friday if you would like!

UPDATE: All items have been purchased from the Angel Tree Toy Drive list! Hey friends! We would love for you to partner with us as we come alongside The Eagles Nest and support their food drive 🥫 and toy drive 🧸 at our December gathering!

Happy December! We are so excited to partner with Eagle’s Nest at our gathering this Friday to collect non-perishable food items to help stock their food pantry!
We encourage you to grab a few extra items at the store this week and bring them along on Friday. We’re giving away Well stickers to the first 50 people to donate 🥫
And be sure to check out the link in the comments with info about the Angel Tree Wish List. The Angel Tree program provides gifts for the children of a parent in the treatment program at Eagles Nest.

Happy Friday friends 🎉 We are SO excited to introduce our speaker for our December gathering of The Well. Meet our friend, Blake Hanbury.
Blake Hanbury has been married to her husband, Phillip, for 13 years. She takes great pride in being a mother to their 10-year-old daughter, Reagan. As a longtime resident of the NRV—having attended college locally and lived in the area for nearly two decades—Blake is deeply invested in the community. She currently serves as a director at a global medical diagnostic developer and manufacturer with facilities in Blacksburg and Radford. Most recently, Blake has become a published author, releasing a children’s book dedicated to supporting those who are most vulnerable and often overlooked.
Through sharing her personal journey, Blake aims to bring awareness and hope to an issue that affects many families in our community. Her testimony highlights God’s grace, love, and restorative power as she supported her husband through his battle with addiction. The Hanbury family’s experience offers encouragement for recovery and serves as a testament to God’s faithfulness.
Blake is dedicated to advocating for individuals in need of treatment and to providing support for the spouses and children of those seeking help. Eagles Nest Regeneration, a faith-based treatment center serving both men and women, played a pivotal role in guiding Blake’s family through both substance use and family recovery programs.
Come worship the Lord with us and hear Blake’s powerful testimony on Friday, December 5th at 7p.m. at Blue Ridge Church in Christiansburg. Doors will open at 6p.m. Head to the link in our comments to serve with us at The Well — extra help would be such a blessing!
