Join us in celebrating our amazing General Manager, Connie Grimshaw, during Administrators Week! 🌟 Connie’s dedication to our residents, families, and Care Team helps make the Flushing Assisted Living community a truly special place.

Connie shared with us, "Assisted Living and providing amazing care, love, support and independence to our residents is what makes my world go around. My dedication to working in this field has filled my life with many great blessings, lessons, and love. God has granted me the wisdom, compassion, fortitude, integrity and stability to work with families, my employees and outside Vendors to provide quality of life to my residents.

Outside of work I enjoy music, traveling, reading, decorating, and spending time with family. I have traveled to many different countries, seen wonders of the world, and yet there is still no place like home.
My desire is to serve the community, residents, their families, my staff and fellow co workers in a way that exemplifies grace, compassion, love, integrity and to live as an example to those around me. I pray that God will continue to direct my path and to give the knowledge that I need daily to continue in a career that I love."

Thursday was National Chili Day, and our community celebrated with a delicious chili cook-off! 🌶️ Residents, family members, and Care Team members all joined in the fun with their best chili recipes. After some tough judging, first place went to our Dietary Manager, Letressa, second place to family member Maria Passmore, and third place to family member Annette Shultz.
