We want to extend our sincere gratitude to Dr. Mukkamala for his recent assistance in addressing the issue of under reimbursement for the cost of vaccines for our office. His support and advocacy have made a meaningful difference, and we truly appreciate his commitment to working alongside physicians on these critical matters.

In our latest newsletter, we discuss RFK's shift to require (inert) placebo-controlled trials for vaccines.

Sure, on its face—why wouldn't we require the "gold standard" to keep our kids safe? But this seemingly reasonable demand ignores a crucial ethical dilemma: we can't deliberately leave children unprotected against deadly diseases we already know how to prevent. It would be like testing improved seatbelts by making half the children ride with no protection at all.

We explain how vaccines ARE rigorously tested, but using scientifically sound methods that don't compromise ethics. For established diseases, we compare new vaccines against existing ones rather than leaving children completely unprotected. And yes, when we developed COVID vaccines, we actually did use inert placebos in massive trials precisely because we had no existing vaccine to compare against. The newsletter explores this balanced approach that ensures both scientific rigor and ethical treatment of our most vulnerable.
