Rachel came to the ATP House of Refuge in early 2018, broken and traumatized after being kidnapped, drugged and tortured for over a month. When she arrived, she had no will to live.

But, thanks be to God — and your support — we were able to walk with Rachel through her journey of healing, from her recovery and transformation into a leader at the safe house to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.

The story doesn’t end there. We recently had the joy of celebrating Rachel's marriage to Dina — a man who loved her with the patience and grace only God can provide. This beautiful couple now feels called to assist at a safe house we're planning for boys.
