Dr. Alkotob graduated from the University of Damascus in Syria. He completed his residency at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic (Ohio). Subsequently, he successfully completed dual fellowships, one in Interventional Cardiology/Peripheral Vascular Interventions at the Boston University Medical Center, and a second one in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Alkotob is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is currently the Chief of Cardiology and Cardiac Cath Lab Director at Hurley Medical Center. Dr. Madar Abed
Dr. Abed graduated from the University of Sao Paulo (Brazil). He then completed his medical residency and a fellowship in Cardiology at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit. Dr. Abed is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He became an Electrophysiologist in 2013 from the University of Arkansas for Medicine and Sciences. Dr. Imad Issawi
Dr. Issawi is a graduate of the University of Damascus, Syria in 1981, and in 1982, completed the Internship. In 1988, Dr. Issawi completed his residency from the MSU College of Human Medicine at the Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship in 1990 from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. In 1991 at the University of Nebraska is when he finished his Interventional training.
