Palmoplantar keratoderma (PPK) is a group of rare skin conditions characterized by excessive thickening of the palms and soles, frequently leading to discomfort and mobility challenges. PPK is often due to genetic mutations. It can occur isolated, or it can be one of multiple manifestations in patients with a disorder like ichthyosis or epidermolysis bullosa.

Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune condition that causes areas of skin to lose pigment, leading to lighter patches.

In an open-label pilot study by Mobasher et.al 2020, topical JAK inhibitors showed encouraging results: 13 patients experienced repigmentation, with 4 achieving ≥90% repigmentation.

At Chemistry Rx, we collaborate with dermatologists to provide access to topical JAK inhibitors where appropriate, supporting individualized care for patients with vitiligo.

Warts, for instance on hands and feet, can sometimes be stubborn and resistant to standard therapies. At Chemistry Rx, we work with providers to create custom topical formulations for treatment-resistant warts.

According to a study by Padilla et al., “Topical Cidofovir for Plantar Warts,” topical cidofovir showed positive results in patients with recalcitrant warts. Of 35 patients, 80% showed some degree of response, with more than half achieving complete clearance of lesions.
