Fractional CO2 laser resurfacing works by delivering precise laser energy to create tiny thermal micro-injuries on the skin’s surface. This controlled process stimulates collagen production and accelerates the skin’s natural renewal cycle.

As new collagen forms, the skin becomes tighter, smoother, and more even in tone — helping reduce wrinkles, scars, and sun damage. This treatment can also complement facelift procedures by enhancing overall skin quality and rejuvenation.

Facial skin looseness develops from more than just aging. While natural collagen and elastin loss play a major role, factors such as UV exposure, hormonal changes, genetics, and lifestyle habits like smoking or poor nutrition can accelerate skin laxity and loss of firmness.

Understanding these contributing factors allows for more personalized treatment strategies aimed at restoring tighter contours, improved elasticity, and a more youthful, resilient appearance.

“Turkey neck” refers to loose, sagging skin beneath the chin and along the neck that can develop with aging, weight changes, or genetics. This loss of definition may involve excess skin, fat, or muscle laxity, creating a softer jawline and neck contour.

For many patients, this concern goes beyond appearance. A turkey neck can affect confidence in photos, video calls, and social settings, often making individuals feel older than they truly are. Addressing neck laxity helps restore a more defined profile and renewed self-assurance.

The skin and body can show the effects of aging, sun exposure, and lifestyle choices through loose skin, wrinkles, uneven texture, and pigmentation. Morpheus8 Body is designed to address these concerns by tightening skin, remodeling deeper tissue, and stimulating natural collagen production.

Using microneedling combined with radiofrequency energy, Morpheus8 targets both the skin and underlying fat. The controlled micro-injuries activate the body’s natural healing response, helping improve firmness, texture, and overall tone.

Morpheus8 Body may be ideal for healthy individuals with mild to moderate skin laxity or uneven texture who have realistic expectations and are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking medications that could affect treatment or recovery.
