SouthernCare Hospice is proud to launch its 21st Annual Food Drive on September 1, continuing its commitment to fighting food insecurity in the communities we serve. Last year, the campaign provided more than one million meals—a milestone we aim to match again this year. We invite community members to join us by donating non-perishable food items to support local hunger relief efforts.
Throughout September, SouthernCare Hospice will be collecting food donations to benefit Ecumenical Ministries of Baldwin County.

Hunger remains a pressing issue across the country. According to Feeding America, nearly 12 million seniors and older adults experience food insecurity. For older adults, food insecurity can severely impact health, exacerbating chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. As an organization dedicated to serving seniors, SouthernCare Hospice is committed to helping ensure that no one in our community goes without this most basic need—nutritious food.
Together, we can reach our goal of providing one million meals and make a lasting impact in our community.
