🌟 Meet Stacy Powell, CRNP 🌟

Southern Cancer Center is excited to welcome Stacy Powell, CRNP, to our ! Stacy is double board-certified in Family Practice and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, and brings years of experience in both outpatient and inpatient oncology care.

Originally from the Mobile area, Stacy earned her nursing degrees from the University of South Alabama and has served patients in Alabama and Ohio. Her approach to care is deeply personal. She believes every patient’s journey is unique and deserves individualized, evidence-based support.

💬 “I kind of lucked into oncology when I became a Nurse Practitioner, and I really love working with these patients,” Stacy shares. “I want to build relationships and advocate for their wishes.”

Outside of work, Stacy enjoys reading, baking, movie nights, and spending time with her husband, their two children, and loved ones -- especially near the water!

We’re thrilled to have Stacy on board and know she’ll be a compassionate and knowledgeable resource for our patients. Stacy works as the nurse practitioner for Dr. Michael Meshad’s team and sees patients at our Springhill Medical Center clinic.
