Brightwood Center skills day at the casino -
Let’s give a special shoutout to Carrie Bishop, our incredible Nurse Educator here at Brightwood. Carrie plays a huge role in keeping our team sharp, confident, and prepared for anything. Her dedication to teaching, coaching, and supporting our staff truly makes a difference every single day.
Carrie’s passion for education showed beautifully during Skills Day. She created hands-on learning experiences, guided staff step-by-step through essential techniques, answered questions with patience and clarity, and made everyone feel comfortable and capable. Her ability to turn important clinical skills into easy-to-understand, practical training is something we are so grateful for.
Whether she’s teaching new hires, refreshing seasoned staff, or developing training tools behind the scenes, Carrie puts her heart into every part of her role. She leads with kindness, knowledge, and a true commitment to excellent resident care.
Thank you, Carrie, for being the educator, motivator, and support system our team can always count on. Brightwood is better because of you.
Another big thank-you to all departments who helped make Skills Day a success — from setting up educational stations to providing demonstrations and hands-on activities. Every team played a part in making the day engaging, interactive, and fun.
To our staff, thank you for showing up, participating, asking questions, and having fun while learning. Days like this remind us how strong we are when we learn and grow together.
Great job, Brightwood!
Teamwork, education, and heart — that’s what makes us who we are.
