🩷🙏🏻🐴Just a simple, country girl with her devoted horse…working for God!!
💥Today was totally EPIC!💥

⭐️We are definitely moving mountains in Equine Therapy in our area through our Nonprofit, Healing with Horses Louisiana!

🙏🏻🕊️It was such an honor to be allowed to bring our extraordinary Therapy Horse, Jet, INSIDE Forest Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center for visiting and a very touching Bedside Session!

☀️🌷🌻We were also blessed to be able to spend some much needed quality time, interacting and offering healing to their beautiful residents and staff, outside as well!.

🤍My heart is beyond full with thankfulness for this life that God continually designs, allowing me to be a part of this Mission!

🤩Whew!! What a busy time for Healing with Horses Louisiana!
I think I’m going to play catch-up in one fabulous post with what we’ve been up to over the last 2 weeks!!

🩷We are truly blessed to participate in so many dynamic events with so many incredible people, all sharing one goal, helping others!

🐣We begin with the Kiwanis Club of Greater Covington, Youth Wellness Fair, Easter Weekend!
What a wonderful time we had sharing our Mission with so many amazing kids!!

👨‍🍳🥘Next was the Leadership St. Tammany Best Class Ever Jambalaya Cook Off 2026!
What a fun event this was to participate as the recipient Non Profit for LST Class 2012!
Sooooo yummy and, boy O boy, can our Ronald Gitz cook some mean Jambalaya!

🍻Moving right along, we had a blast being the Beneficiary Non Profit for Bingo Night at the Covington Beer Garden! What a great way to make new friends and have a fantastic time with our HWHL team!!🥰

⛪️🐴Next, I consider this to be one of my greatest achievements!!
We began our visits with the Monks of St Joseph Abbey and Seminary College
with our very special, therapy horse, Jet!
This truly was a grace filled time for us and we are so excited to be invited to visit on a regular basis!
God is so Good!!☦️

🩵Continuing right along… we were blessed to have a very special horse recently donated to our program!!
“Spirit,” is our newest HWHL family member!
You will be learning much more about this sweetheart, in time!!

🌈Finally, we had an amazing time at the phenomenal, Northshore Neurodiversity Network Autism Festival!
Wow! What an event that was!! These are movers and shakers in our extraordinary Community!!

🌷🌻🪻Next up… well, you’re going to have to wait a little bit for this one!!
We have something extremely special and dear to our HWHL Mission coming up very soon!

⭐️🐎Our Healing with Horses Louisiana Family just got even more beautiful!!
Welcome,✨SPIRIT!✨
Today was filled with generosity, friendships, joy, tugs on our hearts and even deeper belief in what we are doing… Changing lives, through our Healing Horses. I have a feeling Spirit is going to change a lot of lives!

I could not have done this without the kindest of hearts of, Chris Knoblauch and Virginia King Fontcuberta. Both gave an entire day of theirs to make this happen, bringing Spirit home to us.
💖Thank you with all my heart. 

🕊️I will tell more about Spirit’s story and how he came to be ours through the most beautiful, selfless woman, who has actually changed my life and inspired me in ways I never knew needed inspiring.
More to come on that story another day.

💙🐎Jack and Chanel have become the definition of, Healing with Horses Louisiana. It is within their God-given bond, which is, untrainable, untouchable, unimaginable, the two of them share a world all of their own. A world filled with healing, understanding, peace, respect and the dignity of life.
I am blessed to be a part of their journey.

💞A little adorable side note…our curious Chanel, loved Jack’s Alphabet board at their last session!! I think she learned a note or two!! 🎼
