🕊️It’s moments like this that confirm deep in your heart, the Lord is at Work here.
My precious little client, who has suffered more than most adults have in their entire lives, drew this picture of our therapy horse, Jet, who he used in his session.

🕊️Look at the details …the Cross, Jet, his name, all drawn with so much intention.
Beautiful and humbling, to say the least.

At first glance, I immediately thought, this represents Hope.
He later shared with me that Jet made him feel brave and strong and that he is very proud of himself, even after feeling so afraid.
My heart is full.

✨We are so incredibly blessed to bring our Alternative Equine Therapy directly to others through our On Location Services, as an effective resource of Healing.

🐎This unique Service of ours has a tremendous impact on our Community, serving our, Veterans, First Responders, Military, Rehab Facilities, Nursing Homes, Memory Care Facilities, Special Needs Families, Addiction Recovery Facilities, Hospice Care and Business Employees.

💜I am so honored to have, Healing with Horses Louisiana featured in the iconic,
EDGE of the Lake magazine!
One of my (secret) goals when I began this Nonprofit was to eventually be a part of this amazing magazine! ✅

🙏🏻It is so humbling to see how far we have come in such a short amount of time. To me, the most important mission in life is to serve others and assist them in their healing, through the Grace of God.

🩷Forever in my heart…This beautiful woman was my very first Client, beginning my mission with Healing with Horses Louisiana.

Diagnosed at a very unfair age, she was a victim of Early Onset Alzheimers and sadly, is no longer with us, but her ZEAL for life will remain with me always.

🌷We took many walks, picked a zillion flowers, had endless talks, and she loved selfies…She would always say, “Let me see, let me see!”📸

🐎We were true friends, but the greatest thing we did together was having her one wish come true, meeting a very special horse.
It was a day to remember, etched in stone.

🌻Her words to me after her encounter with our therapy horse, Tea, were,
“Today made me feel like I was alive again.”~Miss C.
