🎉🎊 Piñata Party Fun! 🎊🎉

We brought the fiesta to CountryHouse Folsom this afternoon with a classic and very sweet tradition

Our residents had an absolute blast taking turns trying to break open the colorful piñata, cheering each other on and laughing every step of the way. The best part? The shower of Mexican candies that followed! 🌈😄

It was a joyful, energy-filled afternoon that celebrated culture, movement, and plenty of sugar! A big thank you to our team for creating such a vibrant and fun experience for everyone.

🎉🇲🇽🇬🇹 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Flavor! 🇬🇹🇲🇽🎉
This week at CountryHouse Folsom, we honored Hispanic Heritage Month with delicious cooking demonstrations that brought smiles, stories, and sweet memories to life!

Our amazing Chef Maya wowed us by making traditional horchata from scratch. The rich, creamy drink was a hit with everyone! 🥛✨

Denise shared a special treat close to her heart: Plátanos de Gloria, a cherished Guatemalan dessert made with love and served with pride. 🍌🇬🇹

Our wonderful Chef Maya is always working hard to make sure our residents are well nourished. Every week, she does a cooking demonstration for our residents, followed by a taste test! Recently, she made a tomato and mozzarella salad full of flavor 🍅🌱

A refreshing classic, this snack was a hit even with those who weren't sure if it was their vibe!

🌸🌵Happy Hispanic Heritage Month 🌵🌸

CountryHouse Folsom has been kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month with Loteria and crafting Frida Kahlo-inspired headbands 🌙💐

Hispanic communities are especially prevalent in California. Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to educate ourselves and celebrate the Hispanic/Latino community. Through these celebrations, we all get the opportunity to stretch ourselves and learn something new, which addresses our intellectual wellness - an important part of our overall wellness! We also get to have a lot of fun - don't these residents look beautiful in their headbands?😍

This morning we took our residents out for donuts and coffee! BJ Cinnamon had a wide variety of donuts from glazed to apple fritters! The trip and the treats were a wonderful mid-week pick-me-up! 😊

🍋☕ Sweet Outing! ☕🍫

Our lovely residents recently took a little trip to La Bou Bakery and Cafe and what a treat it was! 🚌 💕 Everyone enjoyed fresh lemon scones, hot coffee, and delicious chocolate croissants. 🥐 The smiles were just as sweet as the pastries! Thank you to La Bou for the cozy atmosphere and tasty bites!
