Today is World Day Against Trafficking in Persons and we are sharing ABC10 powerful story of Janette Diaz, a human trafficking survivor, who found support through our Medical Safe Haven Program.

At Dignity Health, our Medical Safe Haven Program provides compassionate, non-judgmental care to those formerly pushed to the margins of society, offering trusted, healing care they previously lacked. To date, we've established care for over 1,300 patients identified as victims and survivors of human trafficking, and our dedicated team of physicians, staff, and patient advocates have provided over 7,000 patient visits, supporting each individual's unique journey to healing.
