About last night… we were so grateful to be able to take part in The Best of Times Awards Celebration. So many local small businesses (like ours), were recognized for the outstanding services that they provide to the community. We were so honored to receive the award for Best Urgent Care as well as Best Medical Clinic. 🌟🌟 At the conclusion of the event, they also announced the business that received the most votes over all…. And you guessed it- it was Rainbow Kids Urgent Care!!! 🙌 Totally unexpected as there were over 225+ businesses, some of which have been open for decades!

As one of the “new kids on the business block”, we are so humbled to be held in such high regards amongst our community’s families. 🙏Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for continuing to support us in the most amazing ways. We love what we do and are glad you do too. ❤️

The temps outside may be dropping, 🍂🌧️ but unfortunately we’re seeing internal temperatures rising as several illnesses are currently circulating in our communities. 🤒😩

If your child is experiencing symptoms and you’re not sure which bug they have, we can definitely help! We are one of the ONLY urgent cares in the region that has the Spotfire testing system that can give DEFINITIVE results to up to 15 viruses and bacterial infections in about 15 minutes. This INCLUDES Mycoplasma Pneumoniae, (aka walking pneumonia) which is not routinely tested at other clinics. Mycoplasma requires specific antibiotics, different from the standard antibiotics usually prescribed for pneumonia, so having a definitive result is very important when it comes to effective treatment.

It’s just a matter of time before we also start seeing influenza (aka flu). Help your family stay healthy by washing your hands, covering a cough and staying home when you’re not feeling well. As a service to our community, RKUC is now also offering flu vaccines for kids (and parents) as well!

Kat's rapid integration into our team and dedication have earned her this recognition. She was nominated by Dr. Pham, commending her proactive approach and compassion. Flu season is fast approaching and we’ve already been getting lots of inquiries regarding flu shots. As a service to our community, we’re pleased to announce that flu vaccinations will soon be offered at Rainbow Kids Urgent Care. Beginning Monday, September 22nd, flu shots will be available for administration. Keep your family healthy with us!

September is Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and we are honored to be hosting a toy drive box for Bryce Bazor Foundation. We invite you to join us in our efforts to bring hope and joy to children battling cancer. Please drop off a new, unwrapped toy at our clinic through September 28th. Your generosity will help make a difference in the lives of some amazing local kids. 💛🎗️

The doctors are incredibly knowledgeable and have wonderful bedside manner.
