To My Dear Patients and Friends,
I have received great personal reward from dentistry over the past 30 years, however the time has come for me to retire from my dental practice for medical reasons and concentrate on enjoying life with my family. It has been my singular honor and privilege to be your dentist, and I have sincerely appreciated your confidence and trust by allowing me to care for your dental health.
After a long and careful search, I have chosen the right dentist to take over my dental practice. Dr. Achman Jaswal has been practicing in Yuba City and enjoys meeting each patient to deliver world class smiles. Dr. Jaswal will be offering specialty services including oral surgery, implants, root canals, and aesthetic dentistry. Like me, he loves dentistry and is excited to meet you and continue serving your dental needs. Dr. Jaswal comes from a dental family with both his father, brother, and even his wife are dentists.
While the announcement of my retirement may have come suddenly, I am committed to facilitating a smooth transition for Dr. Jaswal. The doctor and I have worked hard behind the scenes to make this transition seamless, and having the confidence in my successor has made it that much easier. All the staff will continue in their jobs and are excited to work with the new doctor. I know you will be pleased with this amazing dentist and that you will extend him the same courtesy and loyalty that you have afforded me over these years.

Patients who experience loss of taste and smell but are otherwise asymptomatic may be carriers of the novel coronavirus, causing the rapid spread of the outbreak, according to the British Association of Otorhinolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery. About 40% of the cases of anosmia, defined as partial or complete loss of smell, occur after patients have viruses. Previously described coronaviruses are thought to account for up to 15% of these cases, so it is not surprising that the novel coronavirus also may cause anosmia in infected patients, the organizations noted. While the rise in losses of taste and smell could be caused by typical rhinovirus and coronavirus strains, these symptoms could provide clinicians with a chance to clamp down on the virus.
