We’re thrilled to welcome Marian & Joey Alvarez to the Special Strong family as the proud new owners of three territories in Orange County, California!

The Alvarez family brings a powerful passion for community and connection:
Marian is the founder of Up n Out Social Club, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing isolation and creating belonging for individuals with brain injuries and disabilities.
Joey has dedicated his life to paddling and community, supporting organizations like Silver Linings Foundation (cancer survivors), Mission 50 (veterans & first responders), and Up n Out Social Club.

Their heart for service and commitment to helping others heal, grow, and thrive makes them the perfect fit to lead the charge in Orange County. With Special Strong, they’ll empower people of all abilities to build strength, confidence, and independence through fitness.
