This past weekend, PANC's annual Support Group Facilitators Workshop was held at Creekside Church in Elk Grove. Many representatives of our 50 groups attended to enhance their facilitation skills and knowledge of Parkinson's disease.

A heartfelt thank you to these individuals whose hard work, compassion, and commitment make each unique group a welcoming, supportive, and successful place for our Parkinson’s community to connect and thrive. Are you interested in helping out with a group or starting one?

WOW! Almost 1,000 individuals attended the PANC Conference this weekend! The theme was, "Attitude is Everything." It was an incredible event filled with education, resources, movement, community, and hope and showcased the resilience of the entire Parkinson's community. Thank you to all who attended including our heroes with Parkinson's, care partners, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, and many volunteers. Thank you to our special added panelists including Ryan Reynolds, Jimmy Choi, and Dr. Suketu Khandhar for the enlightening discussion about hallucinations and delusions. Much gratitude to keynote speaker Kat Hill, co-author of Being Well with Chronic Illness, who shared her heartfelt journey and what it means to thrive with Parkinson’s disease. We are already looking forward to the 2026 event! Until then, seek community, exercise, and remember that laughter really is the best medicine. See you next year!
