Dear Camp Spencer Families and Caregivers,

We’re excited to invite you and your Superstar to a special Camp Spencer Celebration on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:30 – 3:00 PM at camp!

This event is our way of celebrating all that Camp Spencer has meant to us over the past few decades—memories made, friendships formed, and the joy our campers bring to the world.

Here’s what we have planned:
📸 Photo booth with props
🎶 Music & dancing
🎲 Classic camp games
📝 Memory table of photos for campers to take home their favorite moments
🏆 Lighthearted camper awards
🎨 A take-home craft

Plus, we’re working on special Camp Spencer take-home gifts for each camper!

Dear Camp Spencer Superstars Community,

With great care and consideration, we want to share that YMCA Camp Kon-O-Kwee Spencer has made the difficult decision to discontinue the Camp Spencer Superstars program. This decision was not made lightly, but due to declining participation and ongoing staffing challenges, we can no longer provide the high-quality camp experience that our campers deserve.

We understand that this news is disappointing, and we recognize how much this program has meant to so many.

While we know many families have looked forward to participating in Camp Spencer Superstars, we wanted to share this news as early as possible to allow time for alternative accommodations to be made.

Thank you for your consideration of the Camp Spencer Superstars program. We are truly grateful for the memories, friendships, and joy that this program has brought to so many over the years. If you have any questions or need assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

We will be hosting the April Camp Spencer Weekend April 11-13, 2025, followed by a Camp Spencer Superstars Celebration on Sunday. More information will be distributed in the coming days regarding this celebration.
