What a holly jolly time we had at our Resident and Family Christmas party! Santa made a special stop to spread cheer and hand out smiles, and the Del Ray’s kept the room filled with wonderful music that had everyone dancing and clapping along. We love celebrating this season with our residents! 🎄

Our Fond du Lac site is located inside the Stayer Center at Marian University of Wisconsin. Our clinical training primarily takes place at Harbor Haven Health & Rehabilitation. A special thank you to our partners for their support in facilitating our classes

Harbor Haven was proud to participate in this year’s Presents for Pediatrics toy drive! Thank you to our amazing staff and community for donating so many generous gifts. Tori Vennemann from Marian University picked up all the wonderful gifts that will help bring joy to local children this season!

Thank you to the Cardinal Singers for visiting Harbor Haven today! Your beautiful voices truly filled our home with Christmas cheer! 🎄

Cardinal Singers are off with their first caroling performance of the season at Harvor Haven Nursing Home. The first of four performances today and nearly 40 in the next three weeks. Certainly the busiest time of the year for the group…and they love every minute of it!

We want to inform our families that the Fond du Lac County Healthcare Center received a bomb threat by phone this afternoon. The Fond du Lac Police Department responded promptly and conducted a full safety sweep of the building, with no threats found.

Local law enforcement advised that the threat appears to be non-credible, given the nature of the call and the fact that similar threats were made to other local buildings around the same time. No further action has been recommended for the facility at this time.

Ensuring the safety of our residents and staff remains our highest priority. We will continue to update families if there are any changes.

Our second annual “Deer Hunt” is officially in the books! Residents have been talking about this event since last year, and it brought plenty of laughs and smiles from both the hunters and the deer. Good luck to all the hunters this opening weekend! 🦌

Harbor Haven held a Veterans Day program yesterday to honor our veterans. We offer our heartfelt thanks to Dave Schneider for his support in organizing the event, the DAV for their generous plant donations, and the SMSA Jazz Choir Ensemble for their beautiful performance. Our veterans were truly touched and deeply grateful for the kindness shown to them. We are proud to continue this annual tradition of honoring those who served and look forward to celebrating our veterans for years to come! 🇺🇸

The wife of one of our former residents has generously made another beautiful quilt to be raffled off to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. The quilt, measuring approximately 82 by 88 inches, would make a wonderful Christmas gift! Please see the flyer for details on how to purchase tickets and for a photo of the quilt. As in years past, the quilt is displayed behind the front desk at the Harbor Haven entrance. We sincerely appreciate your generosity in supporting the Alzheimer’s Association!
