Fresh produce from Olden Organics Farm was delivered to our ECEs today...

Watermelons, cantaloupes, 9lbs diced carrots, 7lbs beet sticks, 7lbs slice cucumbers, and 9lbs of diced mangos 😍 YUM!

We also stopped for a peak at the center-based gardens at Lily Pad Learning Center, LLC and Tinytown Daycare in Brandon.

The kids have been tending to their gardens every day 🙌

It looks like some of the wild life is taking advantage of the free buffet 😒 but the kids will soon be feasting on their very own radishes!

A huge thank you to the May Hill Farm family for having us join you for the Dodge & Fond Du Lac County Farmland Frolic!

There was a great turn out! The kids had fun and we shared excitement about the growth of F.R.E.S.H. Bites.

The conversations we had with other farmers, parents, teachers, health care workers, and nutritionists today affirmed the great need for programs in our area and improving access to local fresh foods in our communities!

We are grateful to have partners to help make this mission possible - like May Hill Farm, our supplier of fresh eggs and snack sticks! 🥚🍳

🐣 Next week they are bringing eggs to incubate and hatch at one of our centers for a unique educational experience! 👀 stay tuned for updates & follow the journey with us!

May Hill Farm is ALSO doing their part to make fresh food affordable and accessible to all - they have a wide variety of proteins available for purchase with EBT/SNAP benefits! 👏👏👏
