Assisting with personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care
Assistance with ambulation, transfers, and exercises
Light housekeeping such as dusting, vacuuming, washing dishes, and laundry
Running errands such as grocery shopping and transportation to medical appointments
Preparation and serving of meals and snacks
Medication Reminders
Companionship

Qualifications:

1 year of home care experience, preferred (but we will train the right person!)
Reliable vehicle or transportation
Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and complete (or provide) a 2 step TB test

AS of today, PA is in need of a 23% rate increase to be competitive with neighboring states. We need everyone in the home care sector to care about this and reach out to their state representatives. Gov Shapiro needs to Fund the Frontlines and make home care a priority. Every day, individuals and families across Pennsylvania struggle to access the in-home care they need. With over 112,500 shifts of care going unfilled each month and 27% of approved nursing hours left vacant, those who rely on home care – and the dedicated workers who provide it – are being left behind.
