I have been a massage therapist for 10 years this month. And up until this year I’ve never once had an issue with this.

The first was a man making me feel uncomfortable with how he was reacting to the therapeutic massage.
The second was a man that came into my business asking for prices and then proceeded to ask if I did happy endings.
And now this.

So if anyone needs a reminder…
Those of us that run a professional business are licensed professionals. We prefer the title massage therapist versus masseuse because with that comes a negative connotation.
In the state of Pennsylvania you have to have 600 hours of education to sit for the Massage & Bodywork Licensing Exam (MBLEx) to practice massage legally and professionally. We have a licensing board just like physicians, lawyers, nurses, physical therapists, etc. We have to renew our licenses every two years, completing 24 continuing education credits 4 of those being ethics, hold updated cpr training, and mandated reporter training.

It’s 2025 grow up.

If any of my clients want to help, I’m happy to collect and get it delivered to them!

This morning, I dropped off donations at Connections of Armstrong County (S Jefferson St, Kittanning) and they were beyond thrilled to get some bedding (sheet sets, comforters, etc.). I asked them what their primary needs were right now and this is the list they gave me. IF you are going through items and have any that you intend to donate, please consider this organization. They are such an asset to our community and to people in need (that may not qualify for County assistance type programs).
If you are unable to donate during their open hours ( Tue and Thur 9:30-1 *Check their FB page for accuracy since the hours may change), contact me for meet up.

✨5 YEARS!✨

Tranquil Vitality has existed for 5 years. Which is crazy! I remember in 2020, being so terrified still in the midst of a pandemic. Seeing so many businesses closing, and thinking to myself am I crazy for opening a business right now?! But honestly in my gut I knew it was the right decision.

I truly cannot say enough how much appreciation I have for all of you. My clients who keep my schedule booked out for weeks, some who have been with me for almost 8 years! Y’all who have bought gift certificates. Anyone who has simply shared my posts or cheered me on from afar. *this is the point where I’m in tears* Thank you!

Owning a business is not always easy, but you all allow me to live in my passion, keep a roof over my kids’ heads and food in our fridge. I appreciate you all so much and I couldn’t do this without you!

I can honesty say that I love what I do and have the coolest job ever!

Here’s to many more years! 🫶🏻

Ladies, next time you have raging cramps hit me up!

Today was day 1 of the flow and my uterus felt like an alien was clawing its way out 😂 and my lower back was going to spasm out.

20 min under the red light and I feel so much better!

Last week was a busy one!

On top of my regular in office appointments I was also out of the office doing 4 chair massage events.

A charity event, IUP de-stress fest, and West Hills teacher appreciation.

It’s always a nice change of pace to get out in the community doing chair massage. I’m grateful for all opportunities, especially pampering our teachers who do so much for our kiddos!
