Today is a reminder of the importance of advance care planning. Conversations about health care wishes help ensure that individuals, families, and care teams understand what matters most when medical decisions need to be made. Hospice teams are honored to support patients and families as they navigate these important discussions with compassion and clarity.

April is National Donate Life Month, a time to raise awareness about the life-saving impact of organ, eye, and tissue donation. Across the country, thousands of individuals are waiting for a transplant that could offer a second chance at life. We join healthcare organizations nationwide in recognizing donors, recipients, and the clinical teams who make these life-saving gifts possible.

We are honored to announce we have been named a USA Today Top Workplaces Award for a third consecutive year! In addition to being a national Top Workplace, we were also recognized recently with Top Workplace Culture Excellence Awards for the healthcare industry, purpose & values, employee appreciation and wellbeing, innovation, and professional development. These honors are especially meaningful because they are based on authentic feedback from our employees. This recognition affirms our commitment to our mission-driven culture where our people feel valued and supported so we can deliver the highest clinical care possible. We appreciate every team member whose dedication makes these achievements possible. It is their contributions to our culture and mission that makes the difference in the lives of others.

Our Piedmont team celebrated “Spring into Care” Spirit Week! Each team added its own touch, from themed dress-up days and sweet treats to Easter egg hunts during staff meetings.

Our directors have truly enjoyed recognizing and celebrating our teams as we step into the spring season. It’s been a great reflection of our “With You” core value, and a reminder of the meaningful impact we’re making as we continue to shape how hospice care is experienced in our communities.
