Elizabeth Mae Hickler, 92, of Forest City passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, 2025 at the Good Samaritan Center in Forest City, Iowa.

Graveside services for Elizabeth will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 17, 2024 at Ellington Township Cemetery, rural Ventura, Iowa.

Duane H. Vrieze, 85, of Forest City passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at MercyOne Medical Center in Mason City.

Upon his wishes he will be cremated and a private family service is scheduled for Saturday at his home.

John Allen Hill, 89, of Forest City, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, 2025, at home under hospice care surrounded by his family.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 3, 2025, at United Methodist Church, 305 South Clark Street, Forest City, with Pastor Les Green officiating.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Schott Funeral Home, 505 North Clark St, Forest City, IA 50436, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Monday morning.

Burial will take place in Madison Township Cemetery in Forest City, IA.
