I’ll be speaking on “The Role of Christianity in Mental Health Therapy,” exploring how faith can serve as a powerful, clinically relevant resource for supporting emotional and psychological well-being.
This year’s conference will be held at Universidad Antonio Ruiz de Montoya in Lima, Peru, a beautiful setting for meaningful global dialogue on faith, culture, and healing.

If it drains me, I say no.
Not because I’m difficult.
Not because I don’t care.
But because I’m finally choosing myself too.

I’m done apologizing for protecting my peace.
I’m done stretching myself thin to make others comfortable.
I’m done betraying my own needs to keep the peace.

My energy is not endless.
My time is not disposable.
My wellbeing is not optional.

So if it costs my calm, my clarity, or my emotional safety?
It gets a gentle, grounded, unwavering no.

Because saying no is not rejection
it’s self-respect.
And honestly… I deserve that.

Some of the pressure you carry isn’t even yours, it’s old conditioning telling you to explain yourself, overextend yourself, or make yourself small so others don’t feel uncomfortable.

You don’t owe anyone your boundaries explained, your growth justified, or your energy drained.

Read that again. Slowly.

You’re allowed to protect your peace.
You’re allowed to change.
You’re allowed to choose yourself without guilt.

And if you’re unlearning people-pleasing or emotional exhaustion, you don’t have to do it alone.
