This Arbor Day, we celebrated our planet and showed our appreciation to the world around us.

Three years ago we replenished the earth’s resources by planting a pear tree. We enjoyed the great outdoors and saw what the tree looks like today.

Residents and staff also created plant displays. Together, we’re honoring the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting it for the next generation. Here’s to a greener, leafier future. 🌍🌳🌴💚

We took a bite out of the Big Apple at our Taste of Manhattan culinary event! 🍎🗽🚕

We enjoyed cups of deli chicken soup, corned beef sandwiches with slaw on rye, a side of Waldorf salad and for dessert, a classic black and white cookie!

We continued the afternoon with a matinee showing of the movie The Mirror Has Two Faces, a classic rom-com set in the city starring Barbra Streisand and Jeff Bridges.

To top it off, our residents joined other avid readers at our Book and Brew Bar celebrating World Book Day - Manhattan style. 📖
