Dr. Kanumilli began her training in India at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where she completed medical school and an internship before performing a radiology residency at Nizam’s Institute of Health Sciences. After moving to New York, Dr. Kanumilli participated in research at several facilities, including NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City, ABK Neurological Associates in Forest Hills, and NYU Winthrop Hospital’s Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship in Mineola. Dr. Kanumilli completed her family practice residency at South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, New York. At her practice, Janaki Kanumilli, MD Family Practice & Aesthetics, Dr. Kanumilli cares for patients of all ages. She is certified in medical acupuncture and takes a holistic approach to providing health care. Under her care, patients receive a wide range of services to reach their health goals, including specialized services like addiction management and state-of-the-art laser aesthetics, as well as primary care treatment. Dr. Kanumilli has practice locations in Forest Hills and Floral Park providing care to the Queens community. She also has privileges at multiple hospitals, including NYU Winthrop Hospital, The New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System, and Parkway Hospital.
