An Integrative approach is utilized combining techniques from various orientations including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Mindfulness for the benefit of each patient. Specialty areas include treatment of Depression, Anxiety, Phobias, Trauma, ADHD, Social Skills Problems, School Issues, Anger, and Behavioral Problems. Additionally, Alicia has been involved in meditation training which has provided her with a direct understanding of the mind-body connection. This knowledge has helped to better assist patients in developing their capacities for awareness and change. A mindfulness based approach promotes both physiological and psychological well being.
