Introducing SEQUOIA, a trauma-informed clinical framework now integrated across all programming at Serenity Knolls. This framework supports individuals with trauma histories, chronic stress, co-occurring disorders, and emotional dysregulation, along with those who simply benefit from a more compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

SEQUOIA incorporates evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, CBT, ACT, CPT, Seeking Safety, and other trauma-responsive interventions, allowing our team to meet clients with greater clinical depth and flexibility. Our intention is to move beyond crisis management and create a treatment experience where individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered to achieve lasting recovery.

If you would like to learn more about SEQUOIA or any of our programs, please contact our admissions team at 833-929-0702

Mental healthcare looks different for everyone, and even small steps—like reaching out to someone you trust—can make a meaningful difference. You’re not alone, and help is always available.

Progress doesn’t always look big. Sometimes it’s simply showing up, trying again, or taking one small step forward.

Challenges are part of growth, not a sign of giving up. Each effort you make is meaningful, even when it feels quiet or unseen. Keep going. Your progress matters.

Our thoughts can shape how we feel, act, and experience the world around us. Unhelpful thought patterns, like assuming the worst or being overly critical of yourself, can impact mood and overall well-being. Building awareness of these patterns is a powerful first step toward change.

Practicing mindfulness and self-reflection can help you challenge negative thoughts and build emotional resilience. https://ow.ly/xSrV50YF1X0
