Yesterday was extra special at Amira Choice Forest Lake —we had some very sweet visitors outside! 🐴🐶🐔 Residents got to spend time with horses, dogs, a siamese cat, and even some friendly chickens. The joy and smiles these animals brought with them were priceless.

Thank you to our furry (and feathered!) friends for brightening our day!

We made another "dream come true" this week!

One of our residents wanted to have an old-fashioned wiener roast, so we took a bus over to the Lakeside Park, enjoyed the fresh (yet cool) air, good company, and perfectly grilled hot dogs. A big thank you to our chef, Steve, for manning the grill and making sure everyone had a delicious hot dog and s'more! It was a great afternoon. ☀️

🎶🎤 Last week, our community was treated to something truly unique — a performance by Kevin, a musical ventriloquist! With lively songs, clever comedy, and a few surprises from his puppet friends, residents were laughing, clapping, and even singing along.

The room was full of smiles as the puppets “joined in” with their own jokes and harmonies, creating a show that was as heartwarming as it was entertaining. Thank you for bringing so much joy and music to our day — it’s not every day you get a concert and a comedy act all in one!

Leading up to our 10-Year Anniversary Party last Thursday, we celebrated in true 50s style! ✨🎉

From creating paper dolls and decorating vinyl records, to playing a rockin’ round of “Elvis Bocce Ball”, every activity was full of nostalgia and fun. We even had a classic 50s dance party—poodle skirts, jukebox hits, and all!

It was such a joy honoring the past while celebrating our annual 50s week 🥳❤️

We had a wonderful afternoon on Monday as Hallberg Center for the Arts brought the beauty of pastel art to our Dimensions Neighborhood! Residents enjoyed exploring colors, textures, and creativity in a relaxing and joyful atmosphere.
