We had a wonderful time last week welcoming back Comstock from Northern Clay Center for our first hands-on ceramics class of 2026!

Our community members had the opportunity to get creative, learn new techniques, and express themselves through clay. From shaping to designing, each piece reflected the individuality and talent of its creator.

It was inspiring to see so many residents fully engaged, trying something new, and enjoying the process together.

A big thank you to Northern Clay Center for sharing their expertise and bringing such a meaningful and enriching experience to our community. We’re already looking forward to the next class!

A few weeks ago a small group of our Neighborhood residents enjoyed a fun outing to Split Rock in Wyoming, MN for a bowling adventure! 🎳 There were smiles all around as pins were knocked down, high-fives were shared, and laughter filled the lanes. For some, it was a trip down memory lane, and for others, it was a learning experience.

Moments like these remind us how important it is to get out and enjoy the simple joys of life. 💛

We celebrated last week with an Easter egg hunt, coloring Easter eggs, and painting eggs with puffy paint (shaving cream, glue, and liquid watercolors!).

We had so much fun getting creative and a little messy while experimenting with alcohol inks last week! ✨

Residents enjoyed exploring vibrant colors and watching them blend and flow in such unique, unpredictable ways as we decorated our vases.

Each piece turned out completely one-of-a-kind, full of personality and creativity. To finish them off, we added soft faerie lights and tea lights inside—bringing each vase to life with a warm, glowing ambiance. Everyone "ooh"ed and "aw"ed when we shut the lights off and watched their projects illuminate!

There’s nothing better than seeing creativity shine—literally!

We had a shamrockin’ good time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! 🍀

Our community was full of laughter and festive fun with Brews & (temporary!) Tattoos, St. Patrick’s Day trivia, a lively photobooth, and of course—delicious shamrock shakes to top it all off. From answering silly trivia questions to capturing fun and sweet moments on camera, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

It’s days like these that remind us how special it is to come together, share a few laughs, and celebrate the joy of community.

What a joyful day celebrating creativity at our Art Show at Amira Choice Forest Lake yesterday! ✨

Residents and staff proudly showcased their incredible work, filling the room with color, talent, and inspiration. From paintings and crafts to handmade pieces and intricate needlework, every display told a story and highlighted the creativity within our community.

It was a wonderful way to celebrate Craft Month, bringing everyone together to admire each other’s talents, share conversations, and enjoy the happiness that art can bring. The smiles, encouragement, and sense of pride throughout the day made it truly special.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make the event such a beautiful celebration of creativity! 🎨🪡

We had a full room as Mike Henry took us down memory lane with all of our residents' favorite songs, reminiscing on the good ol' days and singing along with familiar tunes! He also shared trivia with each song played, giving everyone a little extra insight on the musician or song itself.
