THE NRII IS NOW LIVE IN MOST STATES.

You no longer need to submit your medical card to your state's DMV — it will now be transmitted automatically UNLESS your license is form one of the following states:

Alaska
California
Florida
Illinois
Iowa
Kentucky
Louisiana
New Hampshire
New Jersey
New York
North Carolina
Oklahoma
Vermont
Wyoming

Theses HAVE NOT IMPLEMENTED NRII and you need to continue to submit a paper copy of your Medical Examiner’s Certificate, MCSA-5876, to the SDLA/DMV.

As with any new system, there may be occasional issues or delays. Please be patient and continue carrying your paper medical card with you for the time being.
