📚✨ The Hive Day Services, LLC and Joyful Journeys are teaming up to empower local youth with a 🎒 Book Bag Giveaway!

💪 Our exceptional staff and individuals from The Hive will be packing book bags with essential supplies 🖍️✏️📓 and helping distribute them to the first 50 families who visit us at Miller Park 🏞️ on Friday, August 15th, starting at 11am 🕚.

🙌 If you don’t need a book bag, we still encourage you to stop by and show your support ❤️.

🌟 We’re excited to make a positive impact in our community by supporting local children and helping them start the school year off right! 🎉👦 👧🎒

We benefited from the beautiful weather today and took a rejuvenating nature walk that left us feeling revitalized and inspired, largely due to our successful navigation. Cultivating friendships and inhaling fresh air - the ideal combination to enhance our Hive's well-being. 💛🖤🐝💛🖤

🌟 March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month! 🌟

When I founded The Hive Day Services, I had one goal in mind: to create a space where adults with developmental disabilities could thrive—not just exist. After working with individuals with ID/DD for over 15 years, I saw firsthand the need for a program that balanced sensory-friendly environments with socialization through community engagement and skill-building.

At The Hive, we recognize that every person deserves the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow in a way that suits their unique needs. Whether it’s practicing independent living skills, enjoying a community outing, or simply having a safe space to be themselves, we are committed to fostering an environment where everyone can live a more normalized, fulfilling life.

Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month is a time to celebrate the incredible individuals we support, break down barriers, and advocate for a world that values inclusion, dignity, and respect.

💛 Let’s keep pushing for a future where every individual, regardless of ability, has the support and opportunities to reach their full potential.
