Impact Living Services (ILS) is a non-profit agency dedicated to changing outcomes for at risk youth and families throughout Virginia. ILS is a licensed child placing agency providing treatment foster care services and transitional living services focused on assisting youth in foster care by promoting interdependence so that each youth may reach their individual potential socially, academically, vocationally and relationally. In addition to providing an independent living and foster care services, ILS provides outpatient counseling, therapeutic mentoring, and other community-based services to all eligible clients in the Central Virginia area.

Building your first resume can feel intimidating, especially if you haven’t had a traditional job yet.

Experience isn’t just a paycheck.

Handle it. Push through it. Don’t let it show.

But here’s the truth:
