What is a CNA?
At Runk & Pratt Senior Living Communities, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) are the heart of our day-to-day operations. They are often the first face that our residents see each morning, and the last they see before going to sleep each night. The constant friendly interactions with residents help brighten their days and make Runk & Pratt a wonderful experience for everyone. However, it is the hard work and diligence of our CNAs that help keep our communities running smoothly.
CNAs report important and often crucial resident condition information to our nurses. Other responsibilities may include taking and recording residents’ vital signs, documenting a resident’s health status, cleaning rooms and bed linens, basic first aid, helping with meals, and much more. While the CNA position may be physically and mentally demanding, it is an incredibly rewarding position because of the lasting relationships you will build with coworkers and residents.
