Over the last two weeks, our Wellness Team hit the road — visiting 11 divisions across the DMV in just 14 days — to support over 300 members during open enrollment!

From helping members enroll or update their 2026 health benefits, to signing up for MetLife beneficiary services, supplemental life insurance with National Group Protection, and even ordering safety glasses, they covered all the essentials. Members also had the chance to enroll in Propel, the health and wellness platform powered by 689 Moving Metro.

The wellness team kept health a priority with biometric screenings (blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and BMI) and served up healthy breakfast and lunch options for bus, rail, and maintenance teams at every stop.

Connecting with our members is always the highlight. Thank you to everyone who came out and made the Wellness Tour a success!

Please submit your enrollment forms and any required supplemental documents by 5 PM. You can drop them off in person or email them to enrollment@tehw.org.

Beneficiary Updates:
Update your beneficiary form through MetLife at metlife.com/mybenefits.

Yesterday, 689 Moving Metro met with Local 689 members at Bladensburg Bus Division to discuss Propel and upcoming wellness challenges.

Members were also able to enjoy a quick bite to eat through the Brunch Bar along with enrolling in benefits for the 2026 year.
