3 years ago I received a resume in my email from Rebecca asking if I was hiring. At that time Beacon was just me (Sara) in a small office alone in Toms River providing OT and feeding therapy. I had just quit my school job to run my business full time. I had no intention of growing my practice and had never hired anyone before. Rebecca came in for an interview and from that moment Beacon began to grow.
Through the ups and downs of being a new business owner to a growing practice, Rebecca stood by my side and cheered me on through thick and thin. Beacon would not be what it is today without her emailing her resume and interviewing with me just 3 years ago. I am so grateful for our friendship and to have her in my life!

Here we grow again!
We are thrilled to welcome Keira to our Beacon Team!

Keira received her Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at Monmouth University. Throughout her time at Monmouth, she had the opportunity to complete fieldwork placements in which she provided services to a wide variety of clients, including both adults and children. Keira strives to continue learning how she can provide the best treatment to all client populations and further develop her professional interests.

"I am passionate about creating a safe and engaging environment, allowing for a trusting connection between myself and my clients in order to best facilitate treatment and work towards their goals."

Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time at her animal sanctuary or snuggling with her two dogs. She also enjoys reading, roadtripping, and cooking!
