Our Academy program serves teens 11-18 and our BreakThrough program serves adults aged 18-35.

🏆🌟We are honored to announce that BasePoint has been named the 2026 Program of the Year by the Association for Ambulatory Behavioral Healthcare.

AABH is a national organization focused on advancing excellence within Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) behavioral health programs. Each year, it recognizes organizations that are helping set the standard for quality, innovation, and clinical impact in mental healthcare.

Recognition from AABH reflects more than growth or visibility. It reflects the impact an organization is making within behavioral healthcare itself through improving mental health outcomes and strengthening the well-being of the communities it serves.

Sometimes caring for yourself simply starts with slowing down long enough to tend to your own roses.

We often wait until we are completely overwhelmed to acknowledge our mental well-being because exhaustion, burnout, and emotional overload have become normalized and even praised.

Mental Health Awareness Month is a reminder that caring for your mental health should not begin at a breaking point.

💚 You do not have to earn rest.
🤝 You do not have to wait until things get “bad enough” to ask for support.
🌹 And you are allowed to prioritize your well-being even when everything looks fine on the outside.

⚠️Less than 1 in 4 young adults today have reached key life milestones by ages 25 to 34, according to recent U.S. Census data.

The reality is that modern young adulthood looks very different than it once did, and the way mental healthcare is structured, delivered, and experienced needs to evolve alongside it.

BreakThrough was designed specifically for young adults, with developmentally aligned programming that supports emotional wellbeing, independence, life skills, connection, and long term growth during one of life’s most transitional stages.

Cameron brings extensive experience across behavioral health operations, access, and leadership. From starting as a Behavioral Health Technician to serving in executive leadership roles across behavioral healthcare organizations, Cameron’s career has remained centered on one mission: helping individuals and families connect to the care they need.

In his role, Cameron will help lead and strengthen BasePoint’s Patient Access Center (PAC), including:
✨ Supporting access and intake operations across BasePoint
📞 Enhancing workflows, systems, and collaboration across teams
📈 Helping scale access processes to support continued growth

A teen can make progress in therapy and still feel unprepared for everyday life.

That’s why BasePoint’s Summer Enrichment Program focuses on the skills that help growth become sustainable outside of treatment — confidence, emotional regulation, communication, problem-solving, independence, and future readiness.

Through structured afternoon programming, interactive discussions, and guest speakers, teens are given opportunities to build not only coping skills — but a stronger sense of self and direction for what comes next.

Tan brings more than 16 years of experience across healthcare and behavioral health, including psychiatric services, addiction treatment, outreach, and community engagement. Her blend of industry expertise, clinical understanding, and mission-driven leadership makes her an incredible addition as BasePoint continues to grow across Texas.

In her role, Tan will help lead marketing strategy across both our Academy and BreakThrough programs, including:

We’re proud to share that BasePoint BreakThrough will officially begin serving young adults at our new McKinney clinic location this June 2026. 📍

Located within walking distance of our BasePoint Academy McKinney adolescent program, this new space was designed to expand access to developmentally aligned mental healthcare for young adults ages 18–35.

BreakThrough offers PHP and IOP programs built to support the unique challenges and transitions that come with this stage of life.

Already serving young adults at our Forney, Arlington, and Frisco clinics — alongside our statewide virtual program — we’re excited to continue expanding access to age-appropriate care across Texas, with North Richland Hills also opening this August. ⭐
