You don’t need to:

– wake up at 5am
– completely change your routine
– become a different person overnight

You need small, consistent shifts your body can actually handle.

That’s what creates real, lasting change.

This is where I would start:

1.Regulate your nervous system daily
(not just when you feel stressed)

2. Stabilize your blood sugar
→ your body can’t feel safe if it’s on a rollercoaster all day

3. Adjust your workouts to match your current capacity
→ not what you think you should be doing

4. Create actual recovery in your day
→ not just “collapse at night”

Most people are skipping these steps and jumping straight to doing more.

And it’s keeping them stuck.

I’ve been thinking about putting together something that walks you through this step-by-step…

Would that be something you’d want help with?

Most people trying to fix their energy are focusing on the wrong things.

They’re jumping straight to:
– workouts
– supplements
– routines

But skipping the foundation:
👉 nervous system regulation

That’s why they stay stuck.

You can’t outwork a dysregulated nervous system.

More workouts
More supplements
More routines

None of it works if your body doesn’t feel safe.

Healing happens when your body shifts out of survival mode.

That’s the foundation everything else builds on.

I see this all the time.

People panic when their HRV drops.

But HRV isn’t the problem—it’s feedback.

It’s your body saying:
“I’m under stress and I need support.”

The goal isn’t to chase a number.

The goal is to support your system so the number improves naturally.

Unpopular opinion:

Your workouts might be making your burnout worse right now.

I know that’s hard to hear.

But if your body is already in a stressed state, adding more stress (even “healthy” stress) can keep you stuck.

This is what I see all the time:
– low HRV
– elevated resting heart rate
– poor recovery
– still trying to push through intense workouts

And then wondering why nothing is improving.

Your body doesn’t need more output.

It needs to feel safe enough to recover.

That might look like:
– walking instead of HIIT
– strength training with intention, not exhaustion
– actually allowing rest days

Healing isn’t about doing less forever.

You’re still getting things done.
Still showing up.
Still taking care of everyone.

But underneath…

You’re exhausted.
Detached.
Running on empty.

That’s high-functioning burnout.

And it’s the phase most people ignore—until their body forces them to slow down.

Things I stopped doing when I was trying to heal:

– forcing intense workouts when my body was exhausted
– ignoring my hunger or under-eating
– saying yes when I needed rest
– trying to “push through” low energy days

What actually helped?

Listening to my body instead of fighting it.

That’s when things started to shift.

You’re resting.
You’re trying to slow down.

But you still feel:
– tired
– wired
– not fully yourself

That’s because rest alone isn’t enough.

If your nervous system is still in a stress response, your body can’t fully shift into recovery.

Healing isn’t just about stopping.

It’s about creating safety in your system.

You keep thinking the answer is:
– more consistency
– more motivation
– more pushing yourself

But your body is already overwhelmed.

And no amount of discipline will fix a dysregulated nervous system.

This is why you feel stuck.

It’s not a willpower issue.
It’s a regulation issue.
