Arena Counseling was honored to host the Central Georgia Coffee & Chat for ☕

The conversation, coffee, and camaraderie were truly top tier. Being in a room with fellow LPCs who are committed to growth, advocacy, and excellence in care is always energizing.

One powerful takeaway? In today’s ever-changing social and technological landscape, LPCs face a constant barrage of new challenges. And yet, we consistently meet them with curiosity, collaboration, and solution-focused thinking. Our shared commitment remains steady: ensuring that those seeking quality mental health care are met with both compassion and competence.

Annie had a wonderful time yesterday at ’s Women About Business Soirée !
One of the highlights was connecting with Dr. Jennifer Evans, owner of . As it turns out, these two healthcare entrepreneurs went to together, and over the course of the evening, several more points of connection surfaced. A sweet reminder of just how small (and interconnected) our world can be.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out Rejuvenant and learn more about Dr. Evans’ incredible, patient-centered primary care model.

Gathered alongside fellow community leaders at , enjoying delicious bites from , we were moved by powerful stories centered on mentorship and impact.

and had more than a few of us teary, while artist educator and challenged us to reconsider the assumptions we make about difference. Big Brothers Big Sisters reminded us of the vital, ongoing work they continue to do right here in Middle Georgia.

✨ Annie’s key takeaway: meaningful change happens through relationships, when we stay curious, remain open, and invest in one another with intention…traits that all the providers at Arena Counseling embody every day in their transformative work with others.

We’re kicking off the new year with fresh food and community spirit! Join us for the first Eat Right Atlanta market of 2026 on Wednesday, January 28, from 11 AM – 3 PM, outside the main entrance of Monroe County Hospital.

Eat Right Atlanta is a local nonprofit that brings farm-grown fruits and vegetables from Ellenwood, GA, straight to our community. Their mission? To help people eat better for less, and that’s exactly what they do.

I have one photo from Friday night’s event, “The Stories We Carry,” but the memory of it is imprinted on my spirit with a lasting impression.

Amanda Moreland, Sie Latier, and Kitty Robinson candidly shared their personal stories, explained evidence-based neuroscience in action, and offered thoughtful challenges as we continue our own journeys.

It was a full evening, rich with meaningful moments, good food, genuine fellowship, and the willingness of a truly gracious audience.

Thank you to everyone who came and lent your presence to the space.

At Arena Counseling, our heart is to continue offering events that bring our community together to glean insight, challenge growth, inspire healing, and spur unity.

We are a counseling center that hopes for transformation in the individuals, couples, and families that courageously seek our services.
