🪴Green thumbs working and enjoying a little Dolly Parton. Making Bread 🥖 is a newer program thanks to a generous donation. Art 🖼️ like this is relaxing and fun. Anne played piano at lunch today. Lastly, a glimpse of some bingo prizes!

🥳 Birthday Party! Centerian +1 for our Helen H. Shirley R. is smiling ear to ear at 99, and Joanne is bringing in 90 gracefully.
As always, our favorite part is when our honored birthday guests share special things about their lives. As a result, next week we will watch some WWII rations videos and historical accounts.
🌟 Do you know how much coffee was rationed every 5 weeks? 1 pound 😳
🐎 We had a little coffee and horse racing fun today. I heard, “ Come on… 6!
💅 Nail Spa Days - 16 people had some tlc this week.
🧘 11 Hand Massages at Legacy Court.
🪴 Green Thumbs Group - managing those persistent beetles. 🪲

💪🏻 Our Reena Rockers started off our Grip League in fantastic fashion.
🌟They pumped just under 137 liters in 20 minutes. All team members take a 5 minute break in between the 4 rounds.
🌟We made sure hydration was available and recovery time was used wisely. Post Game we have recovery tools to support their gripping muscles.

🌟If done correctly, the large accessory muscles are not the key players of gripping. This includes: pectorals, triceps, biceps, shoulders, trapezius and more.
🌟What muscles are used: Forearm extrinsic muscles = 9 in total. Intrinsic muscles of the hand = 11. Plus stabilizing muscles.

It’s not just about coordination, endurance, strength, communication, or technical skill - it’s the unity, shared purpose, joy, and shared respect across the generations that has made it so rewarding thus far.

Naturally a little NA Spirits brought out the fun moments captured here. Laughter is great medicine! We believe we had a hefty dose today. 🙏🏻

🥇 Have you herd… the news?
🐄 Bessie B. Ovine won “best in show” this year! The residents have entered the adult group division for the 3rd consecutive year.

This year we received calls and messages telling us how much visitors enjoyed the resident cow. Bessie is adorned with a lovely collage of activities and resident moments.
