The Chouteau County Health Department Youth Substance Prevention Program is proud to partner with the Chouteau County Sheriffâs Department, Sheriff Justin Smith, and Deputy Darby Reardon to deliver the evidence-based Too Good For Drugs prevention program to local students.
This school year, Too Good For Drugs was provided countywide to all 3rd grade students, as well as to 6th and 7th grade students in Fort Benton. The program teaches age-appropriate lessons on positive decision-making, goal setting, and substance use prevention educationâhelping equip youth with the tools they need to make healthy choices.
We are grateful for the dedication and flexibility of our local law enforcement partners, especially Deputy Darby Reardon, whose commitment helps make these important prevention efforts possible.
Based on student feedback and questions, we are exploring opportunities to continue expanding Too Good for Drugs prevention education for high school students in the future.
Together, we are building stronger, healthier futures for Chouteau County youth!
