Welcoming Kim to the Rise team! Starting Feb. 1st, Kim will be teaching two yoga classes on Saturday mornings!
10am-11am Saturday
Sweet & Deep Flow
Nourish your whole being in this all levels class. Expect to go beyond just the physical body using dynamic movements led by breath to help soften the mind and dissolve stuck energy. We will move the body, mind and breath into a state of stillness allowing our highest wisdom to naturally arise.
11:15am-12:15am Saturday
Yin Yoga
Ground the body/mind and create more spaciousness in this practice done mostly on the floor. Poses are held for longer periods of time with support of props. The emphasis on breath will gently ease the body open and release stored tension. Show up and breathe. The rest is optional.
Kimberly Millard is a certified Clinical Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT), a Lead Teacher Trainer with Shivakali Yoga (E-RYT 500), an Ayurveda Health Counselor(AHC 750 ), and a Crystal Bowl Sound Facilitator.
Kim's teachings are informed by transmissions from a variety of masters, integrating her extensive training in yoga philosophy, pranayama, meditation, and therapeutic yoga. With a focus on the subtle body, she incorporates the vibrational power of harmonium, mantra, and crystal bowls to guide students toward their own innate wisdom and self-healing capacity.
Through years of study and practice, Kim has embraced a life of simplicity, sustainability, and harmony with nature's rhythms. She is deeply grateful to live completely off-grid along the beautiful California coast.
