Self-healing steps for the new year:
Grab a large empty box (you may have a couple after the holidays) and walk around your home filling it with items on display which you no longer need, and which can be donated. Some items may have been purchased because you enjoyed them at the time, but you are now a different person. Donate the box to a non-profit thrift store which resonates with you. Afterwards, standing in your home, feeling the new open spaces, you may find yourself more relaxed. In fact, you may choose to leave the openness throughout the year, or new items may take their place.
Creatively place favorite colors in your home and car, where you may frequently and effortlessly absorb their healing energy. Examples: placemats, floor mats, rugs, photos, art, mats in frames, vases, real and/or artificial flowers, pens with different color inks, etc.
Repeat these steps every three months (put on your calendar), and your inner peace and growth will expand tenfold.
