Good morning facebook friends. It’s been a while since I’ve posted an update on what’s happening in the office .
Firstly, I have recently had to have a shoulder clean up after 34 years of body work . Not bad shoulder ! Glad it lasted that long ! I should say for other body workers , that that is the side I slung my table over my shoulder for 25 years of traveling out to work , so , switch it up if you can 😁 many over the rivers and through the woods and across the meadows and out to the yurts and flights of stairs as well 🦋not complaining, I would have had to replace my car tires by now ☺️.
It’s going to be a few months of recovery and physical therapy but all in all it was a quite successful surgery and I have had very little pain , even in P.T.
So , yay universe !
It’s always scary the first part of recovery . You are inundated with meds and not seeing things from a positive perspective. Three weeks in now , stitches and staples removed , still wearing the heavy brace for 3 more weeks well, 2 weeks and four days but I have plenty of time to count . First physical therapy went awesome and therapist was surprised at how much movement I had already .
I am so looking forward to seeing you all again when I am recovered fully ❤️.
Some of you who know me know that I have suffered neuralgia that comes and goes . This last year it escalated and I resumed a breathwork practice that was born first during my years of yoga and meditation teacher trainings . In the first 6 months of breathing I reduced the attacks from a few times a week to almost nothing , I did get an attack after a good bump to my head during that time ( stress induced attack ) but mostly have been free of neuralgia since picking up my breathwork practice .
In light of this I have started pouring my study hours into furthering my breathwork training this year . I just don’t start a day without it . ❤️. I want to take this moment to thank all of you for the help you have given me at this time , all the visits after showers to put my hair in a pony 🙏that was really important! All the grocery store visits . All the rides back to my house after I’ve walked a little too far , the random sightings of people I know and don’t know on my walks that have brought smiles to my face , the sun that shined on my body feeding it welcome vitamin D and the lovely time to visit . Even Evan put my hair in a pony on his visit home , may have been one of the most sweet experiences I’ve had in my entire life ❤️.
Yes there have been challenges but there have been more gifts than challenges and I am eternally grateful to my doctor Neema Portehari for being interested in me getting my life back in order 🌷. Happiest of new years to you all 🙏🦋🙏.Kerry
