My favorite go-to smoothie from 🥬🍍 It’s super easy to make, absolutely delicious, and packed with all the good stuff your body loves. Perfect for busy mornings or when you just need a nutrient boost! 💚
Serves: 2
Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
3 cups filtered water
1 raw Brazil nut
1 thin coin-size slice fresh ginger, unpeeled
1 thin coin-size slice fresh turmeric, unpeeled, or dash of ground turmeric (optional)
2 tablespoons whole flaxseeds or chia seeds
½ tablespoon dulse flakes
1 heaping tablespoon barley grass–juice powder or spirulina
1 scoop vanilla plant-based protein powder (optional)
5 or 6 large leaves lacinato (dinosaur) kale
2 celery stalks
1½ cups frozen or fresh pineapple chunks
1 to 2 cups frozen mango chunks
1 Granny Smith apple, cored and chopped
3 frozen ripe bananas
Instructions:
Place the water, Brazil nut, ginger, turmeric (if using), flaxseeds, dulse flakes, barley powder, protein powder (if using), kale, celery, pineapple, mango, apple, and bananas in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth. This smoothie is best consumed immediately but can be refrigerated in an airtight container for 24 hours or frozen for several days.
