Public Services Supervisor /Adult & Inclusive Programming

🔎We’re looking for a Public Services Supervisor who is not only a skilled manager but a servant leader—someone who puts people first, supports growth, and lifts others through collaboration and care.
In this role, you’ll supervise public service staff while leading meaningful programming for adults, seniors, and patrons with adaptive or special needs. You’ll help shape the library’s outreach efforts and ensure our services reflect the evolving needs of a diverse, multifaceted community.
Key Responsibilities:
✔️Provide empathetic, clear, and consistent performance management
✔️Lead and grow adult, senior, and inclusive programming, both in-house and through outreach
✔️Champion accessibility and equity in all services and spaces
✔️Build staff capacity through coaching, teamwork, and shared vision
✔️Contribute big-picture thinking to strategic planning and community engagement
✔️Foster a culture of adaptability, communication, and innovation
✔️Maintain service readiness with a focus on details, creativity, and preparedness
✔️Maintain operations with excellent time management, prioritizing details and preplanning programs months in advance.
