Disney VoluntEARS stopped by Fisher House to decorate it for the holidays. It's part of an annual tradition to bring holiday magic to veterans and their families.

Thank you to our friends from Progressive for their hard work and support! Last week, they revamped the landscape around the fountain and did a little grocery shopping. No guest is going hungry. 😋

Today we are having our annual chili cook-off. Members of our crew compete every year for bragging rights. We have 4 entries so far. Who wins by sight? Like your favorite. 😋

On this day in 2017...

A rocking horse, meant to bring joy to children while honoring a fallen Soldier, was donated to the Fort Campbell Fisher House, Oct. 13.

Did you know that the VA Caribbean Healthcare System supports about 71,000 veterans across Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands?

That is why a 16-suite Fisher House is being built to support veterans and their families in Puerto Rico.

When complete, this Fisher House will:

🏠 Provide up to 5,840 nights of lodging per year
💰 Save families over $1 million annually in lodging and transportation
❤️ Offer a safe, comfortable “home away from home” so families can stay close while their loved ones receive care

Your support helps us build a place where families can find rest, comfort, and strength, because when one family member serves, the whole family deserves to be cared for.

Our services will continue as normal.

While there is now a government lapse in appropriations, BACH remains open 24/7 to provide emergency and inpatient care. At this time, all scheduled outpatient appointments and services, as well as medical and dental services at Fort Campbell and the Screaming Eagle Medical Home in Clarksville, TN, will continue as planned pending further guidance.

If there are any changes to patient services, we will provide updates promptly.

Medical Care:

TRICARE Nurse Advice Line: Available nights, weekends, and holidays at 1-800-TRICARE (874-2273) for non-life-threatening medical concerns.

Call 911 for medical emergencies.

Behavioral Health Support:

For behavioral health emergencies, patients may call the MHS Psychological Health Resource Center at 866-966-1020, or connect via email or chat.

For immediate emergency behavioral health support, call 988 or go to the nearest emergency room.
